Can I change my account name / subdomain?
To change your subdomain, first log into Wufoo, then click the Account tab at the top. The Change Subdomain button will be listed there.
What is a subdomain? The subdomain helps uniquely identify your account on our servers. This is an example of a subdomain: http://subdomain.wufoo.com/.
Why would I want to change my subdomain? Let’s say that you chose http://atestdomain.wufoo.com/ as your original subdomain, but you decide to use the account for your company and want to change your subdomain to http://myawesomecompany.wufoo.com/.
How do I change my subdomain? A quick word of warning: changing the subdomain will also change the links to your forms. This means that you’ll have to copy your new form URLs from the Code Manager and re-post these links to your website or resend the links to your users via email Consider carefully the ramifications before you give this feature a try.
If you have read the warning stated above and you are still interested in changing your subdomain, follow these steps: click on the Change Subdomain button. You will see the warning, and after pressing continue, will have a chance to choose your new subdomain.
- Check Subdomain Press this button to check if your subdomain is available. This will not actually change your subdomain.
- Change Subdomain When you press this button, if your subdomain is available, the following actions will be taken: your subdomain will change, and you will be logged out of Wufoo and redirected to the login screen for your new subdomain.
