Themes let you define global style settings that control the visual appearance of different elements on your forms and reports.

Designing Themes

You can create and edit themes in the Theme Designer. To edit an existing theme, or create a new one:

  1. Click Themes in the header of your account.
  2. Click the Theme dropdown menu.
  3. Select Create New.
  4. Click into each property and adjust the settings until you like what you see.
  5. Click Save Theme. If you don't see this button, you may not have permissions to create themes in your account.

Properties

LogoAdd your own logo to the top of your form, remove the logo all together, or choose one of our pre-made logos.
TypographyDefine the font, style, size, and color of all the text elements on your form.
BackgroundsChange the background colors and textures of lots of different elements on your form—like the form itself, or the background color
BordersDefine the thickness, style, and color of the borders around certain elements on your form.
ShadowsAdd or remove a dropshadow around the perimeter of your form.
ButtonsChange the text of the Submit button, or replace it with an image.
Advanced (Custom CSS)Use your own CSS file to style your form.

For embedded forms, we strip out the background, header, and border styling to make for a more seamless integration with your website. If you'd like to have those elements applied to the form, then you'll want add them directly to the container you've embedded the form in using HTML or CSS styling.

Applying Themes

Forms

To apply a theme to a form:

  1. Click Forms in the header of your account.
  2. Click the dropdown all the way to the right of the form you want to apply the theme to.
  3. Choose the name of the theme you want to apply.

Reports

To apply a theme to a report:

  1. Click Reports in the header of your account.
  2. Find the report you want to apply the theme to, and click the dropdown menu next to the color palette icon.
  3. Choose the name of the theme you want to apply.

Managing Existing Themes

You can manage existing themes in the Theme Designer.

Rename a Theme

To rename a theme:

  1. Click Themes in the header of your account.
  2. From the Theme dropdown, select the theme you want to rename.
  3. Click Rename.
  4. Enter a new name.
  5. Click Submit.
  6. Click Save Theme.
Duplicate a Theme

To duplicate a theme:

  1. Click Themes in the header of your account.
  2. From the Theme dropdown, select the theme you want to copy.
  3. Click Duplicate.
Delete a Theme
When you delete a theme, any forms or reports that were using that theme revert to the default Wufoo theme.

To delete a theme:

  1. Click Themes in the header of your account.
  2. From the Theme dropdown, select the theme you want to delete.
  3. Click Delete.
Themes let you customize the colors, fonts, and style of the different elements on your forms and reports. You can use the options in Theme Designer to create a custom theme, or use custom CSS for complete control. You can apply a theme to any of your existing forms from the Form Manager page.
